Building on my experience of buying, renovating, and reselling various types of properties over a period of 30 years, I obtained my real estate license in 2013. Now I'm pleased to offer a boutique-style real estate experience, working with buyers and sellers of homes in Victoria, BC Canada with knowledge, humour, and the highest professional standards. I bring with me years of experience in education, communication, and research including researching, analyzing, and synthesizing large amounts of data in the education and labour market sectors, and presenting results and recommendations to a wide range of end users, from students to senior executives. This analytical experience comes in handy when I'm researching the real estate market for you.
I've got a master's in public policy and administration, a degree in communications, and a post-BA diploma in economics. I've also been enrolled in the Diploma in Urban Land Economics, Appraisal option, at UBC, which allows me to continue to learn online.
Supporting a wide variety of local and international non-profit organizations is a key part of my business. I volunteer as Secretary of the Canadian Federation of University Women Victoria Chapter Scholarship and Bursary Society, which provides scholarships and bursaries to help women pursue education. My husband and I sponsor the urbanecology.ca award at the University of Victoria, to encourage students who are enrolled in the Restoration of Natural Systems program. I also support the arts as a volunteer with the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria Associates. Dance Victoria is another favourite connection!
